Lemons, I’ve been drinking lemon water first thing in the morning for as long as I can remember.  This morning habit boosts hydration, aids digestion, boosts the immune system, and helps balance the body’s pH.  The pith, the white tissue lining the lemon rind, is a good source of quercetin, a bioflavonoid that may reduce inflammation, blood pressure and allergy symptoms.
